Santa Monica Bay Restoration Commission: Governing Board and Executive Committee Meetings

The Governing Board’s work includes creating a long-term vision, setting program priorities and goals, and approving SMBNEP annual work plans. The Executive Committee oversees the day-to-day activities of the Santa Monica Bay Restoration Commission, including setting the Governing Board’s meeting agendas. Governing Board and Executive Committee meetings occur on a regular basis.

The Technical Advisory Committee provides scientific information and expertise, advises the SMBNEP’s work, develops State of the Bay Reports, and more.

Santa Monica Bay Restoration Commission: Santa Monica Bay Stakeholders Events

The Santa Monica Bay Stakeholders is open to anyone interested in the Commission’s activities in the watershed. At least one public workshop is held every year to inform and receive input from stakeholders on the SMBNEP annual work plans. Anyone interested in protecting, restoring, and enhancing Santa Monica Bay and its watersheds is encouraged to participate. The 2024 Santa Monica Bay Stakeholders meeting occurred on February 22, 2024. Join the Commission’s mailing list for upcoming workshops and events.

The Bay Foundation (TBF) is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) whose missions is to restore and enhance Santa Monica Bay through actions and partnerships that improve water quality, conserve and rehabilitate natural resources, and protect the Bay’s benefits and values. TBF serves as Host Entity for SMBNEP.
